ESSENTIAL SERVICES UPDATE

To all our valued customers,

Situation:

On Monday, the NZ Government made the decision to go to response level 4. It is believed that the virus is in the community, which means we must all be extremely careful. Tens of thousands of lives could be saved by this move. We must do our part to support it. That means that all non-essential businesses will shut by 11:59 pm on Wednesday 25 March. Our manufacturing business, excluding repairs, is considered non-essential, so we will be closed from today.

Essential Services:

Repairs is classed as an essential service to the transport industry. We will be taking the next few days to carefully plan our Health & Safety policies around supporting our essential services customers to ensure our customer & staff safety remains paramount. We anticipate having this area of our business operating with a skeleton crew within a week.

Production Schedule and New orders:

Once we have confirmation from the government on when we are allowed to reopen our factories, we will be looking to restart our production scheduling at which time your Domett Sales Representative will be able to give you an updated delivery date forecast on both current and future orders.

Essential Services Support and Parts:

As a number of our customers are part of the essential services supply chain, we are committed to making ourselves available for repairs and parts for these customers. To the best of our knowledge our suppliers will be available for parts for essential service providers. If you need any essential services support please use the contacts below:

Sales Support, Quotes and Orders:

All Domett Sales Representatives are setup to work from home remotely and will be available over the coming weeks, so please don’t hesitate to contact them directly regarding any orders, quotes or general support.
